What's does microbiology occasional squamous cell in appendicites pathology means?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely nothing: Your question is a little unclear, but it sounds the micro report said there were squamous cells present. Was this from a blood draw or directly from the appendix? Cultures aren't usually done directly from the appendix. These aren't a normal part of the appendix and likely indicate contamination from another site--most likely skin from the blood draw site if that was the case.
