Supportive treatment: I'm sorry you're feeling so lousy. Unfortunately, it's supportive treatment which means lots of fluids, good nutrition, OTC medications for fevers. Yes, shaking and muscle jerking can be part of the symptomatology. It usually takes several weeks to several months to fully run its course. Let your doctor know if things aren't getting better. Tremors can be supportively treated.
