My husband has 2nd row of bottom teeth under 1st. there is sudden tooth pain w/swell, strange taste, numbness rt. side of face. then it just stops.

Dental Examination: No matter what your husband's dental problem is, he will need to see a local dentist to be diagnosed. There is absolutely no way to figure out what his problem might be, sight unseen, over the internet. Please call for an appointment, the sooner the better.

Additional teeth: Impacted teeth can be a problem. Especially when they become slightly uncovered. Food enters and becomes trapped in the space around the tooth. Food then rots, your body fights it an an infection follows. Get this check out. Either the impacted tooth is orthodontically erupted or it should be taken out. Not doing anything may lead to more infections and loss of the erupted teeth

Seek immediate care: Your husband may have supernumerary (extra) teeth. One or more of his regular or extra teeth may be infected, and/or gums may be infected. Problem will only get worse and spread to other organ systems. Your husband needs professional care before infection gets out of hand. See Dentist immediately.
