Blood Clot: Sometimes in early pregnancy there can be some bleeding between the gestational sac and the wall of the uterus. This blood can clot, forming a hematoma. This doesn't harm the baby because it is ouside the sac. This will usually go away on its own in a few months and the bleeding will stop. Occasionally these blood clots can become large and cause a miscarriage. Best wishes!
