See a neurologist: There are many types of headaches, including migraines, tension, cluster, occipital neuralgia, muscle strain, etc. Keep a log of the timing, duration, severity, and location of your episodes. Also try to identify any "triggers" (stress, not sleeping/eating). Take this information to a neurologist to discuss the best options for you. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/headache.html

The first symptoms are stiff neck, headache, facial pain, vision disturbances and feeling unwell.
