Internal or external?: Hemorrhoids are classified as internal, external, or a combination of both. Many time in Roberts are both. What you describe sounds like internal. It sounds like they are also symptomatic. See your doctor to help treat them. There are many conservative ways to treat hemorrhoids. If conservative methods fail, surgery is always an option as well.
