Usually not: Itching associated with hemorrhoids is usually do to caffeine excess, which by itself can cause hemorrhoid problems due to its diuretic effect and contribution to copnstipation.

Yes: Itching is a very common symptom of hemorhoids. It can be treated with topical anti-itch remedies like calamine lotion, zinc oxide ointment, or lanacaine.
