Ibuprofen syrup: please give him Ibuprofen syrup, concentration is usually 100 mg in 5 ml (please check concentration of syrup available in India) Your son will need 8 ml=180 mg for fever every 8 hours as needed for fever. Meftal is mefenamic acid and is NOT a front line drug. Crocin contains paracetamol and Caffeine, please give him ONLY Paracetamol syrup (in India may be Panadol) please discuss with pediatrician

No to meftal: Meftal is not available in the US, but from everything that I have read on-line including articles published from NIH states that Meftal is NOT recommended in children.If the fever is high and your child is lethargic,not drinking etc then take him to a doctor.If he's otherwise doing ok then it's okay to just watch.Remember fever is an immune response to fight infection.It's a good to a point
