Urine: Though a painful, urethral brushing is the traditional method to obtain sample fir testing, it's quicker and easier to obtain a first-pass urine (not a mid-stream urine) for nucleic acid amplification testing for Gonorrhea & chlamydia. Candida is a yeast is part of the normal flora - it's not specifically tested nor is it regularly treated. It can be grown on a urine culture.
