Next Step: It is unclear what would have lead to testing a Ca-125 in a 26 year old female. Now that it has been demosntrated to be elevated in the setting of ovarian cycsts further evaluation should take place. The likley next step would be pelvic imaging with an US to urther characterize the cysts. It should be noted that ca-125 is not specific and can elevated for many reasons, not just ovarian cancer.
