2 separate problems: 1. Seasonal Flu- usually the condition resolves on its own with home care. 2. Mouth sores (aphthous ulcers) are painful sores inside the mouth. The sore may be painful for three or four days, but complete healing usually takes ten to fifteen days. Canker sores may recur many times each year. No cure is available. If concerned see your PCP after a few days.
