Why when i wake and go walk to bathroom does it hurt and feel like top of feet bones are crunching together?

More info would : Be required to give you a good answer. This would require an exam of your feet and xrays....when you say crunching are you actually hearing a noise? What is it that you feel precisely? Only when you get up? What about as you walk does it ease up? Is their swelling?
