I am having a lot of pain in the snuffbox for 7 mon. i have had 9xrays and an mri and they all come back normal. what could be causing this bad pain?

Neuralgia ?: The superficial branches of the radial nerve runs across the anatomical snuffbox. It is the nerve that supplies thumb and next 2 1/2 fingers. It is possible that is a neuralgia type of pain. I would consult with a neurologist. :)
