Are x-rays dangerous? i have to get one every three months.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Medical use of X-ray: Within reasonable limits, medical use of X-rays is safe. But there is some radiation that your body receives and this amount varies with the type of X-rays done. if it is a plane Chest x-ray it has little amount of radiation but a CT scan exposes you to more radiation. So you and your doctors have to use X-rays only if the yield of results is expected to change the outcomes, many times,it doesn't!
