Amblyopia: You have such a huge difference in power between each eye that your brain in childhood chose your left eye and is ignoring the fine detail part of the right eye (the peripheral is normal). This, unfortunately, is a permanent situation. The time to have brought up the vision in the right eye would have been patching in childhood.
