A member asked:

Is it normal for antifungal cream to cause a burning sensation ? it's at the back passage area and don't want too damage the skin further ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Its a reaction: That reaction can be found in some antifungal creams such as nystatin. In my experience the burning lasts only a short time and does no harm to the skin. Its best to go to the pharmacy and take the antifungal with you and ask for a different one. When you apply put a very small amount on your skin and note the reaction.
