Cannabis use: Cannabis has been used for pain since the Ming Dynasty. Some forms are better than others for pain. Some of the aromatic terpenes from cannabis can cause liver issues if taken in in large amounts. Vit A is another terpene (diterpene) that in large amounts can be quite toxic. Excessive use of Tylenol (acetaminophen) can damage the liver. NSAIDS can cause GI bleeding & kidney problems-inhibition of prostaglandin
