NSAID + Tylenol (acetaminophen): Acetaminophen and nonsteroidals are metabolized differently, and can safely be taken in proximity to each other. Keep in mind that each acetaminophen dose should be spaced at least 4 hours apart, and NSAIDs should be spaced 6-8 hours apart. Even at therapeutic doses, long term use of Tylenol can result in toxicity.

Why?: Technically yes you can. I recommend taking one and giving it 60-90 minutes to see if you get the desired effect - if you are still hurting then take the other. Remember that tylenol (acetaminophen) can only be administered every four hours but most NSAIDs need dosing to be at least 6 hrs apart (some are every 12 hrs and others 24 hr - check the bottle for recs).
