Need New Med: Nebula zeros are meant to help the lungs not the nose and albuterol can cause sleep disturbances. Your daughter may need a nose spray like Nasacort (triamcinolone) to help control her congestion. In the United States you can buy this OTC, but not sure about Jamaica.

See her doctor: The first things to try are using a cool mist humidifier (not a steam one!), saline nose drops and a bulb to suction the mucous, and increasing oral fluids. If you have tried these things and she is not better, she should see her doctor. She could have an infection, or something lodged in her nose, or an allergic reaction.

SuckADayKeepsDocAway: She may not like this, but even at her age suction may help;Get one of those blue bulb syringes and some saline nasal spray or that Neti Pot fluid or dilute salt water and spray it up there liberally and suck awayThere may be a kit for this.If that doesn't work and you've tried various decongestant medications or sprays then you should take her to the nose doctor(ENT)to look for structural problems
