Mid-cycle bleeding: Depending on your age, mid-cycle bleeding with associated cramps can be "normal". If you are not taking oral contraceptives, as you move into later years, the increased intensity of the drop in hormones when you ovulate (usually at day 12-14) can simulate the onset of a menstual period in symptoms. See your gyn provider for advice, as this may also be a "double ovulation" (with 2x the hormones).
