See an allergist: It may be asthma or allergies. Much more information is needed to answer your question accurately. The best advice I can give is that shortness of breath and increased phlegm sounds like allergies and asthma and an allergist or allergologist can help you.

This might be a strange question, but can the air used for clearing your throat bring up phlegm from the lungs? No cough, but on occasion have found blood in sputum after clearing throat. Also suffer from PN drip/allergies/asthma. Worried about NSCLC
