Unlikely.: I have not seen the common cold cause heartburn. I have seen tea, including herbal teas, cause such symptoms, especially in those who already require acid reduction. More importantly, please be cautious about your use of paracetamol, or as it is more commonly known in the USA, acetaminophen, Tylenol. The recommended daily limit is 2 grams, or 2000 milligrams. It is easy to exceed this safe limit!
