Reflux injury: Odynophagia , painful swallowing following ingestion of alcohol suggests inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa leading to pain. There may be esophageal spasm causing the radiation of substernal pain.
consider OTC antacids, pepcid , avoid repeating this and consider a visit w a physician for further evaluation
