Throat pain, HeadA: Throat pain with Headache can be due to: virus, flu (usually have muscle aches), bacteria (see your MD to rule out Strep throat, for instance). Sharp pain with deep breath could be due to: virus, bacteria (ie, pneumonia); if any previous trauma: broken ribs, pneumothorax (in your case depending on history very unlikely). See PCP for full evaluation.
