Testicular torsion: Testicular torsion is a medical emergency. When the testicle twists, blood flow is reduced causing extreme pain and swelling. If untreated, the testicle will be lost. This is most common in children and teenagers, but can occur at any age.

Exceptionally rare: There are only rare documented cases of "painless" testicular torsion in the literature, especially in the non-newborn setting. Otherwise it is usually marked by intense pain.

At its earliest stage, its related Sx may be not discernible at all and at its full-blown status, its related symptoms can be unbearable.
