Yes. Common: Endep 10, generic name amitriptyline 10 mg, is often prescribed for the pain of interstitial cystitis, a painful and often frustrating condition. You must have started RX recently, since the drowsiness side effects are worse in the beginning and improve over subsequent weeks. Take at bedtime, avoid activities requiring alertness when symptoms are worse, and it should get better. Hope that helps.
