Sebaceous Cyst?: Based on your description, it could be an Epidermal or Sebaceous cyst. These cyst are usually caused by clogged skin pore. A substance, sebum, builds up under skin causing a cyst. These cysts can occasionally drain, causing a foul cheesy odor. Please go see a clinician to confirm what it is. If it is a cyst, it can be easily drained. If it is more solid, then it may require a biopsy.
