It fits?: That would certainly fit with a pattern of irregular periods. If you haven't already done so, I would see your family doctor or GYN for full evaluation of the abnormal periods.

See your GYN: Since you normally have irregular periods, this could be normal for you, however, a pregnancy test would be a good idea. Also, some doctors prescribe birth control to regulate periods. Hope this helps!
