I had a ct scan for coccyx pain but show left sided ovarian cyst and smaller right sided. will i need treatment?

Common: Ovarian cysts are pretty common. "Simple" cysts are fluid-filled sacs with no walled-off areas inside of it. They don't need any treatment unless it becomes too large or causing pain. "Complex" cysts have many compartments inside of it and only sometimes they need to be removed. The doctor who ordered the CT scan can tell you if it is a simple or complex cyst and what size it is.

Depends: on the size of the cysts. Most cysts resolve on their own, but cysts over 3 cm may require intervention. See a GYN doctor to discuss options. Hope this helps!
