Sprain/Fracture: You most likely sustained a sprain/ fracture in this area and should get an xray and treatment for it. Meanwhile apply ice packs for 15 to 20minutes 3 to 4 times a day and if not pregnant ,have a contraindication or allergic to NSAIDS,use as dosed on the bottle for pain relief. rest and elevate the foot.
