A member asked:

I tested positive for ureaplasma ureaticulum, then got reactive arthritis. no rash, fever sweats or naseau. should i be worried about hiv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get tested: Worrying will do no good. Since you have had unprotected sex and acquired one infection, it would be prudent to get tested for HIV and repeat the test in about 6 months, to be sure.
