Here are some ...: To confirm the significance of urine chem-dipstick test, get a formal microscopic urinalysis from a properly collected urine specimen and correlate the findings with clinical pictures. As to flank pain, analyzing the onset, degree, duration, interval, evolution, and progress of the pain over time + physical exam will help tremendously to deduce possible causes for reasonable Rx/ care/ counseling.
