Diflucan (fluconazole): If over the counter vaginal yeast infection creams have not resolved an infection, a prescription of Diflucan (fluconazole) taken as a single dose every three days for at least two doses may help. Avoiding sugary foods and drinks, using high quality probiotics and increasing intake of raw garlic may also help.
