A doctor has provided 1 answer

?perimenopause: It is possible that you are going through perimenopause. At that time periods can be irregular, heavier, lighter, less painful, more painful........Anything can happen with periods during this time. However, if the pain is severe then something else may be going on and you need to see a doctor for a pelvic exam and possibly an ultrasound.
