Not Chicken Pox: The limited location of the rash/bumps make chicken pox unlikely. Chicken pox would also cause symptoms like fever and malaise. The rash could be a virus causing cold sores, but could also be from the irritation of drooling. None of these things would require treatment outside of local skin care, but watch to make sure that she is hydrated and that the rash does not spread to her eyes or throat.
