Not typical IBS...: What you describe sounds a bit like either a nerve issue (if the sensation is superficial and involves the skin). If this sensation is being felt internally that is the kind of symptom associated with stomach ulcers, problems with the surrounding organs near the stomach, reflux of bile into the stomach or gastric acid into the union of esophagus and stomach.
