Primarily Itching: Pinworms cause perianal itching & are primarily limited to this area however they may migrate to adjacent areas & cause genital itching, Rarely they can migrate up into the vagina or the urethra causing inflammation/infection. All household members should be treated together to prevent re-infesting each other. Treatment must be repeated in 2 weeks. See your doctor for correct diagnosis & treatment
