When do i take my second dose of albendazole for pinworms? i took the first dose 2 days ago and it still itches at night but not any other time.

After a week: The itching is caused by a skin irritation, not directly by the pin worms.The female worm lays eggs in a sticky glue like material around the anus.That glue triggers skin irritation in most people. Simple wash off with cold water and application of an OTC hydrocortisone cream has more benefit to the itch than the pills.
