Hematuria: He should get an evaluation and a urinalysis and urince culture. Hematuria (blood in the urine) is never a "normal" finding.

Call pediatrician: Have it evaluated; the urinalysis is just one part of that. Trauma, stones (although uncommon at that age), kidney diseases can all produce hematuria. Call your pediatrician today for an appointment
