Can you die if you get your targus pierced?

Tragus?: Death from an ear piercing is not likely. The more common complications are infection leading to cartilage death and deformity. If you are going to get a piercing make sure to have a professional do it with sterile equipment and good hygiene.

Tragus?: The risks of piercing your tragus are the same as the risks of other body piercings - mainly risk for infection at the site. Death would be unlikely (unless you are young and your parents are opposed to the piercing! OK - not really). If you are going to choose to do a body piercing - be sure to go to a clean, licensed shop and keep the area clean. Seek care if signs of infection.
