My arm is sore from pitching, some people tell me to ice it and some tell me to put heat on it. what should i do?

Ice: After intense physical activity ice for 20 minutes 4 - 5 times daily is best. Pain is your body's way of talking to you. Make sure you listen to it. If you fail to completely recover between games you need physical therapy or to improve your mechanics. If you use your body properly you can recover completely in 2-3 days.

Ice first, then heat: If your injury is acute, use ice. for more chronic injuries, heat is preferable.
