I am 24 with a mole on my right shoulder its kind of a brown/ red. i never take my shirt off and my sun exposure is minimal. could this be skin cancer?

Possible: if the mole has not changed in size or color and has regular even borders then likely it is not a skin cancer especially at your age. However if there is any change in color texture, irregular borders then have it looked at. Not having sun exposure is not a reason not to have a skin cancer
