Vestibulitis: The nose can become very dry, irritated, and crusty. This is particularly common during the winter when the air is drier and the heat is on indoors. Nasal saline mist, nasal saline gel, and sometimes over-the-counter anabiotic ointment can be of significant help. If there are further problems or concerns, see an ENT doctor.
