Papaya leaves juice a natural cure for dengue, is this true?

Papaya and Dengue: It would be incorrect to say that an extract of papaya leaves can 'cure' dengue. There is no specific cure for dengue, but there is some evidence that an extract of papaya leaves may be of benefit in the most dangerous form of dengue, i.e., dengue haemorrhagic fever, by raising platelet counts. The evidence is not rigorous so further study is needed.
