How to cure dengue?

No cure: Dengue is a viral infection and as such it does not respond to antibiotics and there is no specific treatment for the actual infection. It just runs its course and is self limiting. It is rarely life threatening. Treatment is directed at relieving fever, aches, headaches, etc.

Dengue fever: There is no specific cure for dengue fever. Treatment is largely symptomatic and supportive. Most will recover uneventfully. Some may develop complications that will require additional interventions, but those interventions will not actually be a 'cure'.

Dengue treatment : There is no cure for dengue- only what we call supportive treatment. That means, if necessary, the patient can be placed in the hospital and given IV fluids, pain medications and continuous monitoring until they get better. Good to avoid mosquito bites - esp now that it's rainy season there.
