Wait a week: It would be better to never smoke, of course. After tooth extraction, you should wait at least a week, because smoking increases the chance of the clot falling out and getting dry socket, which is incredibly painful.

Never again! :): The smoking is a health hazard for anyone. Most of oral surgeons advice not to smoke for at least 4-7 days after wisdom teeth surgery. Take this opportunity and never smoke again. Just think about how much healthier you will be, how much money you will save and how much longer you will live. Take this opportunity to quit smoking. Good luck.
