See Your Doctor: Your description suggests possible Tinea Versicolor, a superficial skin infection caused by a type of yeast. Although considered benign normal skin flora, warm & humid conditions, immunosuppression, & more can cause it to invade. Causes dark skin patches; can itch. Treatment: topical or oral meds. Visual inspection is required with skin lesions. See your doctor for correct diagnosis & treatment.
