Go see your doctor: Contact dermatitis comes to mind. Drug reactions, too. Doesn't sound like shingles. Eczema is typically something that's diagnosed at a younger age. Need more adjectives/description of skin irritation. Since we can't see your irritation, it's best that you go see your family doc for an evaluation.
