HCG: We like to see a doubling of the HCG every 72 hours. So this likely is not a viable pregnancy. You need to go see an OB/GYN or an FP that does OB right away to see what the next step is. Hopefully the ER referred you to someone. I am sorry that this is happening to you. It is awful but should not preclude future pregnancies.

Wait: Although it has not doubled as would be expected ,the fact that it's rising tells us it's a viable pregnancy.the other possibility is your dates maybe be off.so you will also need ultrasound confirmation to tell wether this is a no viable or extra uterine pregnancy.
