MRIs: Look for structural/anatomical problems. They do not diagnose ADHD.

Functional disorder: ADHD has no lab/ x-ray/ EEG or other similar test that provides a confirmation of the issue.Assessment comes through a variety of functional/behavioral markers determined by observation. There are some psychological and learning issues that often co-exist, but even they are not specific to ADHD.
